Markus Yira joins the PowerHouse team as an experienced ADR Professional. Mark will be providing a variety of dispute resolution services, including mediation, arbitration, and special master/court-appointed neutral assignments.
Mark is a seasoned professional in the realm of dispute resolution with over 27 years of hands-on experience navigating complex cases and advocating for clients. His expertise is wide ranging, encompassing personal injury litigation, general civil disputes, and a broad scope of matters, including business law, probate, estate planning, and real estate. With his wealth of diverse experience, Mark is uniquely equipped to resolve multifaceted legal disputes with precision and effectiveness.
In his role as an ADR Professional, Mark stands out for his ability to illuminate the potential risks and outcomes of trials, drawing from his extensive background in litigation. His approach is marked by a compelling interpersonal style, marked empathy, and unwavering objectivity, enabling him to forge meaningful connections with parties and steer them towards mutually beneficial resolutions.
Mark is a Board Certified Civil Trial Senior Specialist, a distinction awarded by the Minnesota State Bar Association and he is a member of ACTLM. He is licensed in Wisconsin and serves on numerous state and national arbitration panels. Mark is the President for the Minnesota Association for Justice for the 2024-25 years. He is a part-time Referee in Minnesota’s First Judicial District.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of legal practitioners. He teaches at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and is a PowerHouse faculty member in its ADR trainings.
