Biography

Martha Sullivan Mayer joins the PowerHouse team as an experienced ADR professional.   Martha will be be providing a variety of dispute resolution services, including mediation, arbitration, and special master/court-appointed neutral assignments in both civil law and family law areas.

Martha brings a wealth of experience to the dispute resolution field. She haspracticed law for over 25 years and is experienced in the areas of family law, probate, trust and estate matters, and business and civil litigation. Martha enjoys using her skills, experience and creativity to help resolve disputes by finding meaningful and lasting solutions. Martha is recognized in the legal community for facilitating negotiations and mediating disputes, promoting amicable resolutions whenvever possible.

She attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Martha is licensed in both Minnesota and Florida.

Beyond her professional roles, she is active in community leadership and local organizations. Martha is an active volunteer for Legal Aid of Dakota County, and is an active member of the Dakota

County and First District Bar Associations. Martha was appointed in by the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2023 to the MN Client Security Board.

Martha resides in Eagan with her husband and children. She enjoys athletics, boating, being outdoors and attending live music events. More than anything (except resolving disputes) Martha enjoys spending time with friends and family.
