For more than three decades, Kristi Paulson has dedicated her career to helping lawyers, businesses, organizations, courts, and families navigate difficult conversations and resolve complex disputes. Her work has never been limited to mediating individual cases. Throughout her career, she has been committed to strengthening the legal profession through leadership, education, innovation, and service.
That commitment has taken many forms. Kristi has served in leadership roles for the Minnesota Supreme Court, helped shape professional and ethical standards for lawyers and neutrals, taught trial advocacy and dispute resolution across the country, developed innovative ADR programs, written extensively on communication and conflict resolution, and worked alongside lawyers, judges, businesses, and organizations facing some of their most challenging decisions.
Those experiences continue to shape every PowerHouse mediation. They provide perspective that extends beyond legal positions and settlement numbers—helping parties evaluate risk, improve communication, understand competing interests, and make informed, durable decisions. Because while every dispute is unique, every client deserves thoughtful preparation, practical judgment, and a process intentionally designed for the people involved.
